After 425 days we have now finished work on Millfield House and are delighted that this month we will be welcoming our first residents. Millfield House is one part of our Millfield Park Development.
We started work on “Millfield House” which is a Country Mansion dating back to 1882. Work started in Spring 2021. In that time we have transformed the former head offices of Martin McColls newsagents into10 luxury apartments.

When Millfield House was first built its layout included:
Ground floora billiard room, smoking room and dining room. NOW Ground floor, 4 Apartments (3105 sq.ft) The first flooreight bedrooms plus the master bedroom and sitting room. NOW First floor 4 Apartments (2969 sq.ft) Second Floorwere servants rooms in the roofspace. NOW Second Floor, 2 Apartments totalling (1912 sq.ft).
Now the carefully renovated Millfield House has 10 generously proportioned and individually designed one and two bedroom mansion apartments over those three floors. All have entrances from The Beautiful Grand Foyer and two private parking spaces.

Reimagined to exceed current building regulations, they have fire proof doors, individual sprinkler systems, sound proof flooring and 24/7 monitored CCTV with an intercom entrance system. Most have large sash windows that fill them with light, while the upper storey apartments have views for miles, despite being just 2.7 miles to Brentwood station.
The whole interior of the building was renewed to the very latest specification. There are new wooden floors in open plan living / dining rooms and carpets in bedrooms, which mostly have en-suite bathrooms as well as main bathrooms. They also have fully fitted shaker style German Kitchens with integrated appliances.
Bathrooms have fashionable over-sized grey tiling throughout, with secondary lighting along the bottom of the bath and in the toiletries alcove. There’s also an overhead rainfall shower and heated towel rail.
